We are a charity run by volunteers; we donate our time and expertise. We have to pay for some expenses that come with running a charity – such as accountant’s fees and administration work. And we have costs as part of our campaigning – such as printing our publications or hosting this website.
We currently contract BON Culture to provide a range of strategic, research and administrative services for a below-cost nominal fee.
The cultural specialists, Cog Design are our design partners, they donate their time to create our campaign materials and this website.
Our funding comes from donations, grants (including £11,150 from Arts Council England, in 2016) and the money we make from our shop. You can visit our page on the Charity Commission website to see more detail on what money comes in and goes out.
The bottom line is: we are a charity and every penny that comes in is spent campaigning for the arts.
